BIOGRAPHY :

Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha – a Knower of the Supreme Truth – can be best described as a 'University of Life'. Poojya Swamiji was only 23 years old when he took Sannyaasa dedicating his life to the welfare of mankind. Swamiji is a living example of how the knowledge of Vedanta manifests in life of a human being.

Swami Bhoomananda Tirtha's sole pursuit is to make people aware of the abundant potential of human mind, from which alone performantial excellence and also joy and fulfillment of the mind emerge. Over the past 50 years, Swamiji's endeavor has been to make people realize their infinite inner potential and 'live a life of excellence'. Poojya Swamiji's concepts of Interactional Saadhana and Inner Resources Development have guided and transformed the lives of people engaged in wide range of activities. Swamiji presents Bhagavadgeeta as an 'Administrative Gospel' especially meant for inculcating excellence in personal and professional life for people involved in responsible and challenging positions.

Poojya Swamiji is also deeply concerned about the welfare of our country, its culture and its people. Therefore, inspired and guided by Poojya Swamiji, FRNV (Foundation for Restoration of National Values) has been formed to transform leaders of the country to address the crisis of value decline in all walks of life in our Nation. With Dr. E Sreedharan (MD, Delhi Metro) as the President, FRNV has embarked upon a Value Restoration Movement in an effort to rekindle the love and respect in the people for their country by awakening them to their National and Cultural Values.

Narayanashrama Tapovanam, founded by Poojya Swamiji, emerged as an abode of learning in 1963. embodying the unique tradition of Guru-shishya Parampara, disseminating Brahmavidya (Science of Self-knowledge).
