"The journey is long, and alone you have to walk. With love and devotion, serve all on the way and, you will meet Me one day. For that blissful moment, I shall wait."

"Religion is not the act of belonging to a creed, a temple, or a church. It is an inward acceptance of one's conscious relation with the Almighty, who presents Himself as the degrees of Deity in the different religions. When we are in a holy mood, we are really in the temple of God. When we are in a state of meditation, we are in the church of Christ. The temple or the church is this very transcendence which is the spirit of religion that occupies a position superior to the empirical subjects and objects of the world."

"Ignorant people say, “A sage is attempting for his own Self-realisation. He is extremely selfish. He is of no use to society.” This is a serious mistake. A sage is the most benevolent superman. He is extremely kind and compassionate. He elevates at once all persons who come in contact with him. Further, he does Sakti-sanchar through his Divya Drishti. He finds out the deserving aspirants and raises them up through Sankalpa Sakti, even while remaining in a cave or Kutir in the distant Himalayas."

"The man who has seen God becomes like a child. He is beyond the three gunas; he is unattached to any of them. He behaves like a ghoul, for he maintains the same attitude toward things holy and unholy. Again, like a madman, he sometimes laughs and sometimes weeps. Now he dresses himself like a dandy and the next moment he goes entirely naked and roams about with his cloth under his arm. Therefore he seems to be a lunatic. Again, at times he sits motionless like an inert thing."

"In this external world, which is full of finite things, it is impossible to see and find the Infinite. The Infinite must be sought in that alone which is infinite, and the only thing infinite about us is that which is within us, our own soul. Neither the body, nor the mind, nor even our thoughts, nor the world we see around us, is infinite."

"Every Child is a great hope of the future. But today most of our children indeed grow in the middle of opportunities but are caught up in confusions about their future. Eventually lack of Confidence distracts the mind from the main stream of the life and ultimately leads to frustration and behavioral changes."

"In an aerial view of the world, there are no disquieting mental agitations, because in that vision of Oneness, little differences of opinion about a boundary line with a neighbor pale into insignificance. Similarly, when a spiritual aspirant raises himself into greater ambits of spiritual vision, his mind can no longer entertain any agitation at the ordinary levels of likes and dislikes."

"In a dark room if a pot containing a lamp inside it is broken, the darkness of the room is dispelled and you see light everywhere in the room. Even so, if the body-pot is broken through constant meditation on the Self, i.e., if you destroy ignorance (Avidya) and its effects such as identification with the body, and rise above body-consciousness you will cognise the supreme light of the Atman everywhere."

"Meditation is your duty. It is not something that you are doing as an occupation; it is the art of being yourself. Nothing can be more profitable for a person than to be one’s own self. Prayer is an affirmation of consciousness for rousing itself to a dimension higher than its own self."

"Sri Radha used to experience mahabhava. If any of her companions wanted to touch her while she was in that state, another of them would say: 'Please do not touch that body, the playground of Sri Krishna. Krishna is now sporting in her body.' It is not possible to experience bhava or mahabhava without the realization of God. When a fish comes up from a great depth, you see a movement on the surface of the water; and if it is a big one there, is much splashing about. That is why a devotee 'laughs and weeps and dances and sings in the ecstasy of God'."

"Motive or intention behind an act decides whether it is going to fetter the agent or leave him free. The larger the motive behind an act, the greater is the freedom of the agent concerned and the higher also is the value of the act. The largeness of the motive consists in the extent to which it exceeds the limitations of personal longing, covetousness, greed or desire."

"To succeed, you must have tremendous perseverance, tremendous will. "I will drink the ocean," says the persevering soul, "at my will mountains will crumble up." Have that sort of energy, that sort of will, work hard, and you will reach the goal."

"Life is a great struggle. Face the difficulties bravely. Have full trust in God and repeat His Name always. You will be peaceful and strong. Everything happens as God wills. Rely on God and be peaceful. Lord is your refuge, your fortress. The eye of devotion sees God and God alone in all things. God can be seen by the seers by keen and one pointed intuition. Intuition sees God. Reason gives the logical proofs. The Vision of God is a gift of God."

"In every walk of life and at all moments, we must accept and use the ever-changing challenges, and while consciously meeting them train ourselves to become stronger individuals, with greater mastery over ourselves and over the outer world. This mindful way of living consciously, struggling to improve ourselves from moment-to-moment in our bodily strength, in our heart’s emotions, and in our intellectual capacities is the true religion, which transports even a base individual from his earthbound sorrows into the joys and perfection of a Realised sage."

Right Association Makes One Successful!!

"The beautiful tradition of ten day long Onam celebrations makes us more energetic. Each Onam ritual gives us invaluable lessons. A beautiful “pookalam” reminds about the right associations that we should keep. Different colored petals of flowers in the pookalam represent different minds and the beauty is when they associate and stay together. Success follows when we are in association with right people who encourages us. On this 6th day of Onam celebrations let us be more thoughtful to be with right and progressive association."

"There is a guiding hand always; there is a leading angel sitting on our very shoulders. Every person is carrying within himself or herself a guiding power, a divinity. There is a divinity that is aware of what is happening. With millions of eyes it looks at us and sees us and notices what is happening to us."

"He who is desireless is the richest man in the world. He who is desireless is fearless. There is real happiness in the absence of desire. The way to peace is by overcoming desire. Desire is the root cause of birth and death. Have mastery over desires. Desire obstructs the growth of devotion. Cut down the forest of desires with the axe of dispassion. Destroy all desires. Desire nothing. You will have everything. Desire is the enemy of Jnana. Yearn for the Lord alone."

"Body, heaven, hell, bondage, liberation, fear all these are mere imagination. Brahman alone is real. Discrimination is that faculty by which Brahman alone is seen as real, all else as mere illusion. Brahman is the basic reality in all illusory phenomena. Maya is rooted in the pure Brahman. Maya is Brahman’s coefficient. Brahman has no qualities or attributes, because qualities and attributes involve distinctions and divisions. Therefore, It cannot be known to reason, but only to the highest experience of the mystic and sages."

Difference between Knowledge and Wisdom ( Jnanam and Vijnanam):-

We live in a world rife with information. Information without authority which we carry is "knowledge". But that which is authenticated by the scriptures is wisdom " Vijnanam" . People who carry information or disseminate it without real wisdom are pitied by the wise. Bhagavad Gita advises you that true knowledge comes from Guru. Anything around you, including your life experiences that teach you, should be considered a Guru. Bhagavatham speaks of 24 gurus. We have a golden opportunity to study Katopanishad that motivated Swami Vivekananda to spread unquestionable wisdom to the world. Katopanishad cautions you against our own reluctance to change which would degrade us and finally cause rejection. Knowledge is a burden but wisdom is strength. Here to walk the path of wisdom let us learn so we can flow like Ganga in grace and happiness.........Vidwan Sarvathra poojanthe".....   Katopani…

"Bhakti is the one essential thing. To be sure. God exists in all beings. Who, then, is a devotee? He whose mind dwells on God. But this is not possible as long as one has egotism and vanity. The water of God's grace cannot collect on the high mound of egotism. It runs down. I am a mere machine."

'Woman has suffered for eons, and that has given her infinite patience and infinite perseverance.
Women will work out their destinies much better, too, than men can ever do for them. All the mischief to women has come because men undertook to shape the destiny of women."

"Satsangam is not mere company of the wise. The walls of the temple know no God, but a Mumukshu gains in spirituality every moment of his stay in his Guru's presence..He watches every action of his Guru, hears every word he utters and comes to know every thought he thinks, the development of the disciple depends upon his capacity to tune himself to his Guru. This tuning to the wise is Satsangam."

"Lust, anger, greed, pride, hypocrisy, hatred, attachment, are the products of AVIDYA, that binds man to SAMSARA or the World. These should be overcome by steady effort. If you wish to attain the knowledge of the ATMA you will have to eradicate these evil traits which stand as stumbling blocks in the path of salvation. Return good for evil; conquer hatred by love and give life for death. Never speak ill of others. Also never hear ill of others. Never listen to one man blaming another in private."
