Some of our desires are realised, but many are thwarted. If each one of us has his way, he would like all his desires to be fulfilled. There is no greater gain than contentment. A man who is fully endowed this important virtue is the richest man in the world. Your will has become weak through various desires. Kill all desires. Desires make you beggar. Destroy them to the very root by Vivek, Vairag, Tyag. Even Indra cannot enjoy that bliss which a sage who is free from all desires enjoys. Brahman is free from desire.
